Produced by Carlos Blas and family, Madre Espadin is made from fully mature agaves harvested from their farms in Miahuatlan, Matatlan, and San Dionisio. The agaves are pit-roasted individually by region, and the resulting mezcals are blended with precision to achieve a consistent flavor and quality profile.

Certified as Mezcal Artesenal, Madre Mezcal is made in small batches by skilled mezcaleros and their families in Oaxaca, including Jose Ines Garcia Morales in San Dionisio, the Vasquez family in Miahuatlan, and Carlos Blas in Matatlan. Madre Espadin represents the artisanal craftsmanship and heritage of Oaxaca’s mezcal tradition.
