All four of Domaine Taupenot’s premier crus in the Côte de Nuits are outstanding in the 2020 vintage, with each one a quintessential example of its respective terroir. The lovely 2020 Bel Air offers up a fine blend of black cherries, sweet dark berries, grilled meats, black minerality, woodsmoke, currant leaf and cedar. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and sappy at the core, with beautiful mineral undertow, tangy acids, ripe tannins and great balance and grip on the long and complex finish.
