The 2009 vintage experienced a continental climate, marked by a cold and dry winter followed by a splendidly sunny summer with minimal rainfall in August and September. This exceptional weather resulted in a harvest of unparalleled quality, yielding consistently fresh and crunchy grapes.
In terms of tasting notes, this vintage presents a delicate pink salmon hue with a fine effervescence. The aroma reveals hints of forest fruits and blackberries. On the palate, abundant flavors of cherries and strawberries dominate, accompanied by a lively mid-palate. Given that Pinot Noir thrived in this particular year, the wine exhibits the fruit-forward intensity characteristic of a warm season. With its remarkable qualities, this vintage is expected to age exceptionally well.
