Tres Paraguas is a handcrafted 100% agave spirit originating from the Highlands in Jalisco, Mexico. Its name, meaning "three umbrellas," was inspired by a beloved beach spot in Bacalar, Mexico, adorned with three large straw umbrellas on the sandy shore. This spot served as their muse for crafting their own agave spirits.

The Tres Paraguas family includes three varieties: Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. The agave plants are patiently aged for at least six years before harvesting. Traditional clay ovens are used to bake the agave, a process they prefer over the more industrial metal oven method for its superior flavor. After baking, they mash the agave and begin the fermentation process in raw oak barrels. This unique fermentation imparts a distinctive floral aroma, characteristic of highland agave spirits.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable taste without harshness, the agave undergoes multiple distillations, resulting in a final product at 110 proof. They then use California reverse osmosis water to reduce it to 80 proof.
