The extended cool growing season of 2023 yielded some of Unti's most vibrant white wines. This vintage benefits from three clones of Vermentino, adding greater complexity, depth, and structure. Vermentino consistently performs well in Dry Creek, regardless of the year, and no malolactic fermentation was used to maintain its lively acidity.

In 2023, all of their Vermentino clones, planted in 2004, 2010, 2017, and 2018, were utilized. Few wineries grow three clones of Vermentino. The young vines include a Ligurian clone that enhances minerality and structure. The 2023 harvest was their latest ever, from September 28-30, due to cool August and September weather. The result is a refined Vermentino with racy acidity.
