Winemaker Notes: Aromatics of boysenberry jam, graham cracker, dried cranberry, blueberry, thyme, star anise. On the palate, strawberry jam, peach cobbler, pie crust, licorice. Rich and giving with crunchy tannins and lift. Finishes with blue fruit and structure.
Blend: 56% Grenache, 39% Mourvèdre, 5% Carignan

The 2020 Rocks & Flowers checks in as a blend of 56% Grenache, 39% Mourvèdre, and 5% Carignan. It has more subtle notes of darker fruits and peppery herbs, as well as a hint of violets, and is medium to full-bodied, ripe, and wonderfully textured on the palate. I love its purity as well as its balance, and it should drink well for a decade.
